Ok, I'm back! Ok, we're back, bigger and better than before, as we're married now.... incidentally. spent our honeymoon at hedo II last October. Anyway, having relocated to Harry's home state of Nevada 2 1/2 yrs ago, I can tell you that Reid fans in northern Nevada are in extremely short supply. Besides, out here, we've come to know that old Harry isn't racist toward "negros", now if you're Mexican, that's a whole nother story. Now it's only hearsay of course, but in parts of the old wild west around here, old Harry breaths just enough hope into our south of the border refuge's to keep his constituency alive.

Since I Live in Nevada I hope the hell you are correct. I will vote against him as I always have but Reid has been behind in the polls in past elections and yet the Southern Nevada money always comes through and gets the POS re-elected.

No… I clearly stated I was a conservative on smaller government (I should of added a strong and well funded military) and a moderate on social issues.
You took my voting registration and misused the word Independent. In Nevada a Independent is either part of the America Independent Party or if you check the non-partisan block which I do they are non-party affiliated. I don’t like the Republican party and I left them in 1979. There is no conservative, non-party affiliation in Nevada.
However having clarified the two of you doing another Maureen Dowd imitation, it is my belief an independent does not subscribe nor support any left or right wing agenda. As you two demonstrate from the left, both sides are blind ideologues who throw out words like compassion, enlightenment, entitlement, social justice etc., but are only interested in making yourself feel good (Liberal Guilt) or getting handouts because you think you are owed.

Hell, over here in Western Nevada we are waiting for California to self destruct and either cave in from a massive earthquake; incinerate itself from eco-protective forest fires or just to fall into the ocean. That way Nevada can have both Ocean front properties with Mountain Resort views.

ACORN Director Pleads Guilty to
A high-ranking official at the taxpayer-funded leftist group that conducts fraudulent voter registration drives has pleaded guilty to conspiracy for organizing a scheme that illegally paid workers to register new voters.
As a Nevada field director for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), Christopher Edwards paid canvassers—many of them “lazy crack heads”—to register new voters for the 2008 presidential election. He also set illegal quotas of at least 20 voters a day for canvassers to keep their job and offered an additional $5 for registering 21 or more.
ACORN’s shady quota system is illegal in Nevada as well as most states and the Chicago-based community group with strong ties to President Obama faces criminal charges across the nation. As part of Edwards’ guilty plea, he is cooperating with authorities and will testify against several high-ranking ACORN regional officials.
Looks like ole Barry boy's are going to start talking if they pin him to the voter fraud the Birth Certificate will be the least of his worries.

ACORN Vegas Office Raided in Voter Fraud Investigation
ACORN's Las Vegas headquarters has been raided by Nevada authorities looking for evidence of voter fraud.

Nevada state authorities seized records and computers Tuesday from the Las Vegas office of an organization that tries to get low-income people registered to vote, after fielding complaints of voter fraud.
Bob Walsh, spokesman for the Nevada secretary of state's office, told FOXNewscom the raid was prompted by ongoing complaints about "erroneous" registration information being submitted by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN. The group was submitting the information through a voter sign-up drive known as Project Vote.
"Some of them used non-existent names, some of them used false addresses and some of them were duplicates of previously filed applications," Walsh said, describing the complaints, which largely came from the registrar in Clark County, Nev. He said some registrations used the names of Dallas Cowboys football players.
Walsh said agents from both the secretary of state's office and Nevada attorney general's office conducted the raid, and "took a bunch of stuff."
ACORN spokesman Charles Jackson confirmed the group's Nevada office was raided.

The thing to keep in mind when viewing polls is that in close elections as this one may be it all comes down to swing states and electoral votes....nationwide polls are not very reliable as there are many states that are a given for either party. u need to look at ohio, colorado, new mexico, nevada, florida, and virginia amongst a couple others and even polling within each individual state is a tricky business. nevada for example is mostly republican except for vegas and reno which balances it out and makes it a very difficult state to predict. virginia is another one with the appalachian area predominately reublican and the high concentration of military that are likely to vote for McCain may offset the dems....or not. and there in lies the difficulty in polling the swing states. So don't count ur candidate in based on any national poll....this one is likely to be a squeaker so get the army of attorneys ready!
